Continuous Development as a counselor in Training and Beyond

As a counselor-in-training, my professional identity continues to develop through education, clinical experience, supervision, and self-reflection. I strive to provide a safe, ethical, and compassionate environment where clients feel respected, heard, and empowered. I recognize that becoming an effective counselor requires ongoing growth, cultural humility, and a commitment to lifelong learning. by seeking mentorship with Licensed professional Clinical Counselors that specializes in the community that I desire to work with. For example, I would like to work with at risk teens that have been diagnosed with mental health disorders.

Continuing Education

I also recognize the importance of seeking supervision, consultation, and feedback from experienced clinicians to strengthen my clinical skills and ensure I am providing ethical, culturally responsive, and effective care. By remaining committed to lifelong learning, I can continue to grow professionally while providing the highest quality of care to the clients I serve.
